Brave Design is an award-winning manufacturer of contemporary lighting. Inspired by the
interplay of light and shape, the company uses advanced materials to create sculptural light fixtures that
uniquely transform a space. For Brave, the user is an important part of the design process and may be called
upon to choose and manipulate the shape of their fixture.
Since its inception in 2002, Brave Design has been building momentum in the market, as the public and the
design community discover their products. The designers have been invited to participate in over a dozen
international exhibitions, featured in numerous publications, and won several major design awards. Brave
Design’s products are sold in North America at design-forward retailers.

Andrea White is best known for conceiving the unique forms of the FLX lamp. Prior to founding
Brave Design, Andrea worked in Milan as a graphic designer for Prada where she mastered the art of simplifying
ideas to their most basic form. For this young designer lighting is equal parts function and fun. |
